Submitting A Character
The first time you submit a character is going to be a bit more complicated than the next. You'll need a few things in order to get started.
1. Your character sheet. You can find the link for this [here]. Clicking the link will take you to a Google Spreadsheets document. Simply go to "File" in the top right corner, then select "Make a Copy" from the list. This will let you edit your own version of the character sheet without messing up the original.
2. Your backstory. This is very important. Knowing where your character came from and how they connect to the world is very important to making sure that you feel as included as possible. This can be submitted at the bottom of this page - in the submission form. Make sure you put your real first name and e-mail so that we know where we can reach out in order to help you make any corrections.
3. A costume! Now this isn't going to be provided by us, unfortunately we don't have that good of a skill set yet. However, you can usually find some good options on Amazon, Medieval Collectibles, and Epic Armoury if you really want to get fancy. If nothing else, thrift stores often have a lot of good pieces that just need a bit of work to make them look great. Remember to check out the cultures page and the costume suggestions page so that you come into game with a costume that best fits the culture you want.

Submit Your Character Information

This is where you'll submit your character for the first time. Remember that one of the best tips we have for you is to leave some holes in your backstory. The more you leave, the more that we have to work with, and the more that we can tie your character into the overarching plot. Try not to kill off or explain away everyone your character used to know, and don't leave every thread tied up. Lose ends means more fun in the long run, we promise.
If you made changes to your character sheet of a character that you have previously submitted - no sweat! You can use the form here, or you can just e-mail us and let us know. Once we have your information we know who you are so we can help make changes or just add new adjustments to ours. You can change any new stats a character has until a week before the next event you play them in, however you cannot change old stats after the event where they were used has passed.
