Submit a Review

This form is meant to help staff at Inea understand how the event went for you in particular. You can fill it out in character or out of character, but please let us know what happened for your character in particular and what your character hopes or expects to come from the future due to their actions. This is also where you submit the downtime actions that you want to use between events. Reminder that you have 2 of them.

Downtime Actions

Downtime actions occur between games, and represent the time that your character is spending outside of the game to do various things. There are 8 different actions that you can do between games that give you various benefits.

If you pay for an event in advance, but are not able to attend the event, you may request that your funds go towards additional actions, as well as getting the skill points that you would have gotten from that event. You’ll receive one additional action for the purchase, along with two more actions for the next month before the next game, 5 actions total.

You can find the details of these actions below.

Craft

(Requires a Production Skill) This action will allow you to craft items with the components that you have. Components will need to be stored with or given to staff at the end of the previous event, or provided at the beginning of the next one during Logistics. You may craft as many items as you have components for at this time, however the act of crafting even one item will use up the action.

Gather

This action will allow you to search for non-living components (metals, plants, wood, minerals, etc.). You can ask NPCs what plants are common in the area or you may use a guidebook if you have it for that area. If you take Lore: Flora and Fauna, you know what plants are available and can choose to look for specific ones. You cannot collect more than Tier 2 without Scavenge, and the amount and percentage you get will decrease without it. This may require a “Travel” action to get a specific herb.

Hunt

(Requires Scavenge*) This action will allow you to track down certain animals and collect components from them. Asking NPCs in game will give you an idea of what animals are in the area, or you may use a guidebook if you have it for that area. If you take Lore: Flora and Fauna, you know what animals are available and can choose to look for specific ones. You can combine your “Hunt” action with other player’s “Hunt” action in order to increase your chances of finding a specific creature and getting components from them. For each person you increase your chances by 25%. This may require the traveling action to get a specific creature.

Research

This action will allow you to learn about a chosen topic, as well as allow you to try to track down rituals or recipes that you might not have. If you can submit lore that your character knows about said information, ritual, or recipe it will increase your chances by 25%. (You will need Lore: Arcane Magic to research rituals).  Your chances can be increased by another 25% if you have access to a Library item.

Scout

This action allows you to get a feel for the area that the group is in. This will translate into some idea of what creatures or enemies will be in the area, what might attack at the next event, and which major NPCs are in the area. You’ll receive this information a week before the event in question, allowing you some time to plan for it. This will also allow you to increase the chances for finding specific animals to hunt down with another Downtime Action.

Trade

(Requires Merchant) This action will allow you to trade items and components that you have with local merchants and caravans. This does not allow you to travel to a new location, but you will be able to see the locations and general market values for your goods in the new places.

Train

(Requires 2 Downtime Actions, Requires Teach*) This action allows you to train and practice in order to increase the amount of Skill Points that you have by 1. If you train with someone who has the skill “Teach”, you can reduce the cost of “Train” for both of you to 1 Downtime Action. This works the same with the Tribal Cohesion trait from the Dakrian culture.

Travel

This action allows you to see three locations nearby where the characters are currently camped. These might be nearby towns or even a nearby city where you can buy items from merchants, reach out to NPCs in the area, or anything else that might involve things traveling from one place to another. This also allows you to travel to another location to hunt specific creatures (using the “Hunt” action as well) or find specific components (using the “Gather” action). Taking this action twice in a row will let you travel to further locations.

Extra Actions

There are some circumstances that allow you to get an extra downtime action. If, for example, you pay to attend a day or weekend event but either choose to NPC the entire event or don't attend at all, you will be awarded with an additional downtime event. This will allow you to have your character traveling a greater distance from the party and collect or do things other than that. You may request a solo online roleplay event with the plot team, but this will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis as the plot team can keep up with demand for them, real life complications of staff members, and what exactly the task is that you're spending your action on. If you purchase the Season pass you can also get an extra downtime event for each event that you miss that year. You can also get an extra downtime action if you purchase a ticket to a half-day event.
