Prologue 1: Gathering

For most anathema - the people who have been born with the ability to control magic - this world has always been a harsh place. Whether you have been hated and hunted from birth, or had to live in exile due to your circumstances, for most of your life you have known nothing but struggle. 

However, for the first time in a very long time, there is hope. Perhaps you did something that garnered some attention. Perhaps you ran into the right stranger who pointed you in just the right direction. Perhaps you just wandered into the right camp at the right time. Whatever the reason, you have found your way here, to the town of Karim deep in the jungles of Wyld and to the anathema who could change that for you.
